A carefully arranged desk in a modern clinical psychology office, featuring a closed navy hardcover notebook with a subtle compass emblem embossed in silver on the cover, resting beside a fine-point pen on a smooth light-wood surface. Behind it, a frosted glass panel with a softly focused abstract path motif suggests “finding your way.” Gentle afternoon natural light filters through an unseen window, creating soft, reassuring shadows and a calm, professional glow. Photographic realism at eye-level with a slight angle, shallow depth of field keeping the notebook in crisp focus while the background gently blurs, conveying a sense of clarity, organization, and psychological support in a clean, contemporary environment.

Services

A minimalist consulting room corner designed for psychological reflection, featuring a single plush teal armchair facing a low round oak table that holds a small sand hourglass, a smooth river stone, and a neatly stacked set of blank notepads. Behind them, a tall white bookcase displays neatly arranged psychology books with muted, professional spines and a single small potted plant. Soft, diffused daylight enters from the left, creating a serene balance of light and shadow without harsh contrasts. Photographic realism with a slightly elevated, wide-angle composition, sharp focus throughout, and a calm, orderly atmosphere that communicates safety, professionalism, and thoughtful guidance.

Individual therapy tailored to your needs, combining compassionate listening with practical, evidence-based strategies.

Models commonly used in my therapy include CBT, CTB for insomnia and sleep difficulties, DBT, Schema therapy, IFS (working with parts) and somatic (body-based) modalities including EMDR and Hakomi.

A symbolic, photographic representation of personal growth in psychology: a winding stone path made of smooth, light-gray pavers leading through a minimalist indoor garden of raked white sand and a few carefully placed dark river rocks. Along the path, small, subtle markers with simple geometric icons suggest different stages of progress. Indirect skylight above bathes the scene in soft, even illumination, eliminating harsh shadows and creating a tranquil, contemplative feel. Captured from a slightly elevated, three-quarter angle, with the path drawing the eye into the distance. The style is clean, modern, and highly realistic, evoking the idea of finding one’s way with calm guidance and structure.

My work often involves a focus on mindfulness discovery, improving self-awareness, self-compassion/care and capacity building e.g. using ‘window’ and ‘wheel of tolerance’ models and ‘spoon theory’ to help foster skill.

Therapy is provided in a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and inclusive way. LGBTQIA+ folk are very welcome.

“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.”
