Compassionate Clinical Support in Fremantle

At Pathfinder Psychology, I walk alongside you as you navigate life’s obstacles and transitions. Using evidence‑based therapies, I provide a space to help you understand your story, build resilience, and move toward a life that feels more meaningful.

I’m a qualified and experienced clinical psychologist based in South Fremantle, providing calm, confidential support for anxiety, low mood, trauma, and stress, to help you navigate life with confidence.

Being human is both a rich and challenging experience which I appreciate can, at times, feel like it is all too much. I work from a place of welcoming and collaboration, building an understanding of you as a person. I also have expertise in assessing and diagnosing mental health disorder, where specific, tailored treatments and interventions are needed to provide the most efficient and effective resolution for symptoms and struggle impacting on your wellbeing.

Having worked across a range of settings and worked with individuals at various stages of their mental health journey, including private, community and hospital mental health, I have experience in providing intervention and support for many situations. I often work with trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, chronic pain and health issues, functional disorder, insomnia and sleep issues and struggle related to identity, neurodiversity and gender diversity.

Therapy is gentle and respectful, with careful attention given to your comfort and autonomy. Inclusivity is honoured, diversity is celebrated.

Services

A minimalist consulting room corner designed for psychological reflection, featuring a single plush teal armchair facing a low round oak table that holds a small sand hourglass, a smooth river stone, and a neatly stacked set of blank notepads. Behind them, a tall white bookcase displays neatly arranged psychology books with muted, professional spines and a single small potted plant. Soft, diffused daylight enters from the left, creating a serene balance of light and shadow without harsh contrasts. Photographic realism with a slightly elevated, wide-angle composition, sharp focus throughout, and a calm, orderly atmosphere that communicates safety, professionalism, and thoughtful guidance.

Individual therapy tailored to your needs, combining compassionate listening with practical, evidence-based strategies. Telehealth sessions are available upon request.

Models of therapy commonly used our work includes CBT, CTB for insomnia and sleep difficulties, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Schema therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) (working with parts) and somatic (body-based) modalities including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for processing trauma and Hakomi, a mindfulness, somatic psychotherapy.

A symbolic, photographic representation of personal growth in psychology: a winding stone path made of smooth, light-gray pavers leading through a minimalist indoor garden of raked white sand and a few carefully placed dark river rocks. Along the path, small, subtle markers with simple geometric icons suggest different stages of progress. Indirect skylight above bathes the scene in soft, even illumination, eliminating harsh shadows and creating a tranquil, contemplative feel. Captured from a slightly elevated, three-quarter angle, with the path drawing the eye into the distance. The style is clean, modern, and highly realistic, evoking the idea of finding one’s way with calm guidance and structure.

My work often involves a focus on promoting mindfulness for building awareness, understanding and compassion for oneself, exploring goals and building capacity e.g. using ‘window’ and ‘wheel of tolerance’ models and ‘spoon theory’ to help foster skill.

Therapy is provided in an inclusive, trauma-informed and neuro-affirming manner. LGBTQIA+ folk are welcome : )
