Our Clinicians

Siobhán Cooper

Clinical Psychologist

(She/her) I work in a warm, trauma-informed, neuro-affirming and person-centred way with curiousity and compassion. While I am skilled at working with complex mental health issues, I base my therapy practice on the simple premise that we all want to feel loved and experience freedom from suffering.

I work from a viewpoint that acknowledges the existence of many (often opposing) truths (dialectics) acknowledging that mind and body are both separate and one and the same, and yet we can get stuck in one or the other and cut off from aspects of ourselves. Central to this is the balance (or dance) between achieving acceptance of oneself and embracing change. We can also get stuck in the past or in rumination on the future, causing a lot of suffering. The present moment contains essence of past and future. I work with mindfulness, offering rich and tender opportunity for healing and change.

I work with you where you are at. My approach is gentle, flexible and based on a foundation of connection and understanding.
